We were proud to attend the very first edition of Latin Rio in Brazil, a new platform designed to connect the Latin American music market, foster the global expansion of Latin music, and position Rio de Janeiro as a key hub for innovation, culture, and the music industry.
As part of the event, Nicolas Safieh, GM of Labelcamp, joined the panel discussion “Indie Music Tech: Building from the Edges” alongside Mark Meyer (Random Sounds), Giacomo Pellegrini (Fankee), Matias Loizaga (PopArt Music), and Luiz Garcia (Vamonos Music).
The conversation explored how independent companies and technology-driven initiatives are helping shape the future of the music ecosystem across Latin America and beyond, while opening new opportunities for artists, labels, and entrepreneurs.
It was both an honor and a pleasure for us to connect with so many inspiring industry professionals and to learn more about the global growth and impact of Latin music.
A big thank you to the organizers, speakers, and everyone we had the opportunity to meet during this exciting first edition.
