Design Thinking is a design methodology that focuses on solving problems by putting the end user at the center of the process and creating a user-centered product.

🔍 Project Overview

Recently, our talented UX&UI Designer used Design Thinking to revamp Labelcamp’s album upload form. In this case study, she describes the whole process behind this approach, from the interviews and workshops for collecting user expectations to the prototyping and testing phase.

 

🔑 Process

1️⃣ Empathize: Understand the user’s perspective and needs

2️⃣ Define: Define a problem statement that focuses on the user’s needs.

3️⃣ Ideate: Explore new ideas to solving the defined problem 

4️⃣ Prototype: Create potential solutions and design a prototype that can be tested and refined. 

5️⃣ Test: Collect user feedback and improve the prototype

 

🤝 Collaboration

Engage internal teams, users, and stakeholders, including partners and clients.

 

📈 Outcome

A streamlined, user-friendly album upload form with improved usability and functionality. Positive user feedback thanks to a new Track Metadata Drawer offering a cleaner and more intuitive user experience.
